"That’s the end of the story!" Mummy said, closing the tablet after reading ‘The Little Girl and the Dew’ from the Ekigambo Blog website to her little girl, Desina.
Little Desina clapped her hands, her eyes sparkling. She always loved story time with her mummy, and the stories from Ekigambo Blog made these moments even more special.
"I really enjoy those stories, Mummy," Desina said, a big smile lighting up her face as she cuddled up with Mummy on the couch.
"Oh yes, sweetie," Mummy replied, gently patting her hair. "It’s wonderful that we can find all these lovely stories for free on Ekigambo Blog."
"Free means we don’t need to use any coins?" Desina asked, remembering the meaning of the word.
"That’s right, dear," Mummy responded with a smile. "It means we can enjoy all these adventures without spending any money."
"I wish there was a way I could really thank the kind people at Ekigambo Blog," Little Desina wondered, looking thoughtful.
Mummy smiled, pulling her close on the couch, so happy that her little girl understood the importance of gratitude.
"Well," Mummy said gently, "there is a way we can say thank you!"
"How?" Desina asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
"We can make a donation to the Ekigambo Blog website!" Mummy replied.
"What is a do…nation?" Little Desina asked, carefully trying to pronounce the new word.
Mummy smiled. "A donation is when we give a little something, usually money, to help a website like Ekigambo Blog keep going. Think of it like this: the people who write and share these stories do it because they love to. But it takes a lot of time. When we make a donation, it’s like giving them a little hug and saying, Thank you for your hard work, please keep doing it!."
As soon as she understood this, little Desina bounced off the couch and hurried to her bedroom, straight to her special red tin. Inside were the precious coins she’d received when she lost her first tooth.
"Here you go, Mummy," Desina said proudly, handing over five shiny coins. "I’m ready to make a do…nation!"
Mummy hugged her little girl tightly, her heart full of love for Desina’s generous spirit. Right away, Mummy went to the Ekigambo Blog website, clicked the Donation Button and made a contribution to support their wonderful stories.
Just like Desina, we hope you enjoy the stories from Ekigambo Blog. These tales are shared freely so everyone can experience the wonder of reading. If these stories have brought a smile to your face or sparked your imagination, and if you feel like it, please consider making a donation, no matter how small. Your contribution helps the magic of storytelling continue. Thank you very much.
