As he burst through the door, a little boy filled with thirst rushed to grab his water bottle. He tilted his head back, lifted the bottle to his lips, and gulped down the water in quick swallows.
Gulp!
Gulp!
Gulp!
Before long, the water bottle was empty. But soon, a big problem arose. His tummy started to hurt.
"Oh, Mummy, my tummy hurts!" the little boy exclaimed, clutching his stomach.
His mother's expression turned sympathetic as she spotted the empty water bottle on the table. "Sorry, little prince. It seems you drank your water too fast!"
"Yes, but it's because I was too thirsty!" the little boy responded slowly.
"Okay, sit down for a while, you're going to be fine," his mother reassured him, guiding him gently to a chair. "But you need to know that it's not good to drink water that fast! That's why your tummy is hurting right now."
The little boy nodded, taking slow, deep breaths as he sat down.
His mother smiled warmly, her eyes filled with concern. "The best way to drink water is slowly, little by little," she continued. "This way, we can work on our thirst and keep our tummies happy!"
From that day on, the little boy made it a habit to drink his water slowly and mindfully.
The End!
