Rice was her absolute favorite food, and as soon as the plate landed on the table, she couldn't wait to dig in.
She scooped up a generous portion with her spoon and put it in her mouth. But before she even started chewing, she was already going back for another spoonful. And another.
Soon, her mouth was stuffed to the brim, her cheeks bulging.
As she struggled to chew, some food began falling out of her mouth. Just then, her mother walked back into the room, shocked at the sight of her little girl's mouth overflowing with rice.
"Princess, please don't put so much food in your mouth!" her mother exclaimed.
The little girl nodded in agreement, but couldn't respond with her mouth still full. Her mother gently took the plate away, and after a few moments of struggling, the little girl finally managed to swallow her food.
"Why did you put so much food in your mouth?" her mother asked, concern etched on her face.
"I love rice so much, and I just wanted to keep eating!" the little girl replied innocently.
Her mother smiled and explained, "I know you love rice, sweetie, but you can still enjoy it by eating slowly. Remember what just happened? Some food fell out of your mouth. That's because our mouths can only hold so much. And if we put too much food in, it can also be very dangerous - we might choke."
The little girl nodded, understanding.
Her mother brought back her plate and gently reminded her that she could still enjoy her favorite meal by eating slowly, one small bite at a time.
